Great Hidden Gem

Love this pub - best beers in Bath, and the garden is such a hidden gem. The food is fabulous, great value for money, and the Sunday Roasts are fantastic.

We were told by friends about their Sunday roasts here, and WOW they were right - they are simply the best in Bath by a country mile.

Finally.......a wonderful Sunday roast in Bath!

Our daughter has lived in Bath for 6 years and when we visit from Cornwall we have often looked for somewhere serving a good Sunday roast......finally.....we have found that place in The Rising Sun Inn!

Best Sunday roast ever!!

We stumbled on this pub whilst out and about for drinks one evening. We liked it so much we went back the following day for a Sunday dinner. It was probably one of the best moves we ever made - truly the best Sunday roast we have ever had!

Roast beef was delicious, vegetables cooked to perfection and more than we could eat. Perfect roasties and a homemade Yorkshire pudding. All covered in a fantastic gravy. Washed down with a delicious red wine and a lazy couple of hours reading the papers. Perfect.
